Technical Sales Support-North Central Region

This position is to provide very strategic and specific focus on the construction product family. Will provide product technical focus while reporting to the geographic regional manager. This position will provide regional support for dealer training, dealer sales support assistance and some end-user support for strategic clients. Leading local user groups and generally taking the technical lead for regional issues will be a key function. Direct interface with the sales representatives, dealers and regional manager. On site distributor training, job site demonstrations, installation and troubleshooting, major account interface. New product input, field-testing and subsequent production release involvement. Assist in the identification procurement and subsequent training of service and tech support personnel. Provide input on competitive products and activities. Assist in the development of specific technical communications and training requirements. Maintain professional company image at all times.

Requirements:

? Strong mechanical and educational aptitude to maintain and improve the understanding of application and operation of all Trimble construction products.

? College degree in relative field preferred.

? Educational background in construction and surveying principles is a requirement.

? Strong aptitude in construction technology, equipment, software.

? Optical and GPS Surveying techniques with demonstrated technical capability.

? Strong written and verbal communication skills.

? Must be willing to travel and open to relocation.
