Technical Staff Assistant--Repair Replacment and Automation Services

PURPOSE OF POSITION Provide lead technical support in establishment and control of project plans, schedules, budgets and related administrative issues.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance) *Essential Functions
? Implement standards contained in Westinghouse Codes of Business Ethics & Conduct. Ensure that all employees reporting to this position are informed about the standards and related policies, and enforce them within this supervised activity.

*1. Prepare technical plans, schedules, staffing requirements, and financial budgets for assigned area. Convey master schedule parameters and budget limitation to responsible supervisor and review details prepared by them.
*2. Review use of scheduling techniques, proper authorization and statement of work to be performed, and adequate schedule coordination between various contributing organizations.
*3. Prepare and analyze statistical reports on departmental operations.
*4. Monitor schedules, staff usage, and financial expenditures comparing and reporting projection against results.
*5. Analyze trends of deviation from plans to determine technical or non-technical trouble areas and recommend corrective action.
*6. Maintain staff liaison with department as whole and with other departments to obtain and transmit information.
7. Process systems generated reports, such as SAP, COGNOS etc, and undertake associated tasks as required.


POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
I. KNOWLEDGE

Broad knowledge of technical administrative concepts, practices and procedures.
b. Identify specialized education and/or experience requirements.

Technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Typically four to six years of professional experience.
