Technical Support Analyst

Bentley Systems is looking for a talented individual to utilize their engineering and/or computer knowledge to solve complex engineering and software related problems from our customers across North America and around the world.

As a technical support analyst at Bentley?s Haestad Methods Solution Center, you will provide outstanding Engineering Technical Support and Customer Service on a wide range of engineering and software-related issues. Your focus will be products used in the design and analysis of water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:-Resolve users? application questions and problems over the telephone, via e-mail, and using Internet chat in the areas of system configuration/setup, product functionality, bugs, and enhancements.
-Learn, know, and understand Bentley?s water resources software products in detail.
-Develop self-help tools for user support web site.
-Participate in online, company-sponsored Discussion Groups.
-Serve as primary support liaison between company and user.
-Keep user informed of how and when problems are resolved.
-Provide any additional follow up, testing and troubleshooting.
-Refer user to other appropriate support and quality assurance areas within Bentley.
-Convey user feedback to product development staff.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:Degree in civil or environmental engineering or relevant work experience in hydraulics and hydrology preferred.
Excellent writing, editing, interpersonal and communications skills a must.
Proficient PC skills used, as required, for testing, troubleshooting, call logging, etc.
-Ability to work on several projects at once.
-Multi-Lingual skill or previous experience in technical support is a plus.
-Experience using MicroStation or the Haestad Methods suite of software products is also a plus, but we do provide training.
