Adecco Technical has the following contract position available for a Test Technician in Kokomo, IN. Local candidates preferred - no travel/relocation or sponsorship given at this time. Below are the job details?.
POSITION: General Technician Position is for multi shift supporting
manufacturing hybrid circuits area. Job Description: This work will
involve the supporting of manufacturing equipment and processes in the hybrid substrate printing area, with focus on test. The technician
will be responsible to become knowledgeable on the equipment and
processes to extent that they can lead problem solving of downtime of
equipment, train operators and tradesperson, and support the
manufacturing supervisor in uptime and quality continuous improvements. The technician will work with manufacturing,
manufacturing engineering, quality engineers and maintenance
supervision and trades. Technician Tasks: 1.Understand and become
knowledgeable of the manufacturing process. 2.Knowledgeable of
process specifications, quality plans, and work instructions. 3.
Improve uptime and utilization of equipment and processes. 4.
Understand and train operators / trades people proper recovery
sequences of equipment to reduce lost time. 5.Learn to use and train
others on the Factory Information systems. 6.Liaison with engineering
/ maintenance departments for equipment downtime issues. 7.Assist or
lead training on equipment. 8.Assist Operations supervision to
improve departmental performance in cost, quality and scrap. 9.
Comply with plant safety and quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS: MUST HAVE MINIMUM 4 years of relevant experience in
Automotive/Manufacturing Industry. 1.AS degree or more in a technical
discipline; EET or Computer Integrated Mfg. 2.Good written and oral
communication skills - must be able to clearly and concisely
communicate technical information. 3.Good interpersonal skills - must
work well on a team. 4.Good organizational skills - must be able to
manage several simultaneous projects efficiently. 5.Willingness and
ambition to work under pressure, meet schedules and maintain a high
level of output. 6.Proficiency in the use of PC?s, Word, Excel,
Microsoft Project. 7.Ability to work any shift.
