Technology Project Manager

Join the communications leader that really connects with people and become a part of the SunCom Wireless team.  We are seeking a talented individual for a great opportunity to work in our Engineering department leading cross-functional project teams during the implementation of new products, services, and network enhancements.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
The qualified candidate would be responsible for leading cross-functional project teams during the implementation of new products, services and network enhancements; providing support to the development and implementation of project plans; and assisting with the development of product white papers, business cases and implementation charters.


EDUCATION & ABILITIES:

This position requires a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Position requires a minimum two years project management experience in the areas of scope, budget and scheduling and five years of technology experience.  If experience is substituted for education, it must be in addition to the job related experience required; 5 years of job-related experience.  Proficiency in the use of MS Project and VISO is required.  Familiarity with Nortel, Ericsson and Lucent (TDMA / GSM) platforms is preferred.  Project Management Certification (PMP) is a plus.
