Within E&Y's Technology & Security Risk Services (TSRS) practice, we are currently seeking a Manager who will be responsible for managing multiple client engagements and other related activities. This professional will manage engagement teams that assist clients in employing proper information systems, IT processes/best practices and resources, and controls to maximize efficiencies and minimize risk. The successful candidate will also work with client personnel to analyze, evaluate, and enhance information systems facilitating the business internal control process, and will assist clients and other TSRS professionals in performing information technology (IT) control and security engagements, as well as in performing audits of financial statements and other attest services.

Lead IT Services Management (ITSM) projects through assessment, design and implementation. These engagements may include assessment requirements definitions and solution design as related to key IT process areas, as well as implementing solutions (new process components, organizational structures or policies and procedures).

Work with the team and the client to create plans for accomplishing engagement objectives and a strategy that complies with professional standards and addresses the risks inherent in the engagement.

Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex information systems and apply it to client situations. Use extensive knowledge of the client's business/industry to identify technological developments and evaluate impacts on the client's business.

Demonstrate excellent project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and use current technology/tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.

Understand E&Y and its service lines and actively assess what the firm can deliver to bring value to clients. Generate new business opportunities by developing ideas and solutions to present to clients.

Qualifications

To qualify for this highly visible position with excellent potential for career advancement to the right professional, candidates must have:

a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering and/or other related major
*
a minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional services environment preferred
*
a minimum of three years of increasing responsibility for pursuing and delivering IT Service Management solutions in Enterprise/Global environments
*
ability to analyze client environment including existing business and IT processes and related technology
*
certification in one or more ITSM processes (ITIL, Six Sigma, etc.) is strongly preferred
*
experience in IT Compliance and Governance best practices (CoBIT, COSO, ISO17799:2000, etc.)
*
experience working as an information systems auditor for a public accounting firm or other professional services firm and/or particular systems/technology experience to meet special needs
*
advanced written and verbal communication skills
*
excellent leadership and teamwork skills
*
demonstrated integrity within a professional environment
