Test Engineer (1873)

Job Description:
The DNDO project in Arlington, Virginia is seeking a qualified Test Engineer.

Responsibilities include:
- Multiple positions assigned to specific Variants under the direction of the Lead Test Engineer
- Responsible for the definition of test objectives and preparation of plans and procedures for individual ASP Variant (Currently high and medium resolution Cargo [C], high and medium resolution Rail [E], Mobile [H], and Mobile Detection Unit [L] events)
- Has primary execution responsibility for Government testing at National Laboratories, including the Countermeasures Test Bed (CMTB); the Nevada Test Site (NTS), and Customs and Border Protection (CBP), cargo inspection stations at U.S. Points of Entry (POEs), including ports and land border crossings
- Responsible for monitoring the T&E efforts of the contractors for assigned ASP Variants, including test planning, contractor test execution, contractor test reporting, and contractor support to Government test events
- Reviews and comments on the T&E contact of all contractor deliverables
- Is a member of the Test Team (TT) for all testing performed on their assigned Variant
- Participates in the ASP TPWG
- Coordinates or supervises other Test Engineers assigned to their specific variant Monitors Variant performance and participates in the DVPA Team during Government testing

The minimum requirements are 5-10 years of applicable experience. Candidate must also have a Bachelors Degree (Master's preferred) in engineering/science field. Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills are required. A DOD Level III Professional or similar T&E certification is highly recommended. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
