Test Engineer III

1. Analyze and improve test process on a continual basis.

2. Develop new firmware test for new functionalities and customer requirements.

3. Analyze reports of firmware issues design test that will catch problems before release.

4. Update the firmware test suite menus and tests as required.

5. Communicate to technicians test functionality and expected behavior.

6. Isolate the functional cause of firmware issues.

7. Communicate problems to management

8. Perform other duties as assigned.

 QUALIFICATIONS

? BSEE, BSCE, or BS Physics.

? 3-5 years professional experience, including writing test procedures and scripts, preferably in embedded firmware applications. Demonstrate programming skills in assembly language and/or C/C++. Experience working with MS-DOS operating system required. Strong knowledge of how firmware/software controls the function of the function of the device. Strong knowledge of how other peripherals communicate with computers and other communication devices such as serial ports, parallel ports, USB ports, LANs, WANs etc

? Ability to speak and write English sufficiently to communicate with management and other team members. Ability to operate a personal computer. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
