Fuel & Utility Systems, Goodrich Corporation designs and manufactures a wide variety of completely integrated systems for both the original equipment and retrofit aircraft markets. Performs varied work requiring the application of standard engineering practices to design, manufacture, and perform acceptance and qualification testing of rotating shafting. Working with readily available data resources, applies standard practices in situations which require some use of judgment in selecting alternatives. Tasks include design and modification, experimentation and analysis, documentation, specification, etc. chiefly for the design of test equipment and fixtures used to test both existing and new products or processes. Participates as a team member in a specific phase of a broader engineering assignment assisted, as needed, by technical support personnel.

Supervisor screens assignments for unusual or difficult problems and provides experienced help with difficult tasks. This position will lead some of the basic design and test programs and will support the manufacturing and modification of test equipment.

BS in Mechanical Engineering required.
5 or more years experience in mechanical engineering required.

Experience with mechanical power drive trains, test fixture fabrication, or product testing a plus.
