TEST SOFTWARE ENGINEER TEAM LEADER

We currently have an opening for a Test Software Engineer Team Leader.

 

This professional will be responsible for directly supervising engineers and technicians including hiring, training, and coaching associates, appraising their performance and directing team activities including the planning and assigning of work for a diverse group of engineers.  Responsibilities include participation in  generating minimum performance specifications (MPS) and test software applications for use in automated and manual product development testing and Manufacturing production test in accordance with Garmin?s software development methodology and tracking test software development to ensure project milestones are met.  This is an exciting role which combines both leadership and hands-on testing activities.

 

Qualified candidates possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum 3.0 GPA and relevant experience in the field, plus previous experience in a supervisory or lead engineer role. Excellent communication skills and detailed knowledge and experience with high level language structures in C or C++, experience developing automated test applications in a multi-threaded test management framework, experience in the Production Test environment, plus knowledge of Garmin?s product line and customers are required.
