Paratek's Adaptive RF technology and products enable you to deliver the multi-function, multi-frequency mobile wireless devices your customers demand. We work with you as your solutions provide for: adaptive antenna impedance matching for smaller antennas reduced current drain and increased battery life as well as miniaturized tunable RF front ends that tune across very wide frequency ranges.

Test System Engineer Description:

 

The Test System Engineer is responsible for the design and development of automated test systems for development testing of electronically tunable matching networks for mobile phone applications and controller circuits for said networks.  These tunable networks will use Paratek?s unique tunable dielectric material, ParaScan?, for use in high volume low cost electronically tunable RF subsystems.  The test system engineer will work closely with Paratek circuit and component design engineers to develop thorough and efficient test systems to characterize parts in a development environment quickly and accurately.

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

? 3-year minimum, 5 years preferred experience in design of automated rack and stack test systems for use in RF product characterization, such as RF Power amplifiers, Front-end modules, or cellular transceivers.

 Familiarity with automated testing using signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.

 BSEE required, MSEE preferred.

 Expertise with test automation software such as Lab View or visual Basic.

 Hands- on test hardware person a must- excellent bench/test skills.

 

Highly Desirable:

 Electronic component device characterization a big plus.

 Test specification knowledge of mobile phone radios, a big plus.

 Familiarity with testing ICs on wafer via probe a plus

 Familiarity with standard cellular handset test systems, including radiated and conducted tests.

 Familiarity with FCC requirements, a big plus.
