Traffic Design Group Leader

Job Description: Our Seattle, Washington Transportation Programs unit is looking to add a Traffic Design Group Leader to their rapidly expanding staff.  Responsibilities for this role will include:
Serving as the Project Manager for traffic related assignments with WSDOT and other local agencies
Conducting marketing activities with transportation agencies and participating in industry related activities
Managing and metoring of engineering and other technical staff

Job Requirements:

BSCE, PE license, Washington preferred, PTOE license would be desirable
10+ years experience in traffic operations planning, design and implementation
Knowledge of WSDOT traffic standards and criteria is preferred
Must be able to demonstrate experience with marketing, financial performance monitoring and staff supervision
Experience with corridor studies, operation analyses, travel demand forecasting, traffic impact analyses, traffic signal design, ITS studies, design and construction, lighting and pavement marking design is preferred
