Job Description:
Senior project management over multiple FDOT roadway & drainage projects. Responsible for operations of a production section including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support. Business development for transportation program targeting roadway, drainage, PD&E, transit, etc. for projects throughout South Florida. Will function as a project manager and production on projects in addition to management responsibilities. Will be administratively responsible for the section staff and technical service functions and will lead and coordinate services with other sections. Will be involved in marketing planning, proposals and interviews. Be directly involved with industrial and public clients in marketing, project production and related issues. See that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through a pro-active project management system. Implement, monitor and support company policy. Select, train, develop and manage technical personnel. Experience in the management and development of multi-discipline teams. Work cooperatively with National Directors and marketing in local and national marketing and production efforts.


Job Experience:
Typically requires BSCE. Florida PE and 15-30 years experience transportation. Previous experience building a consulting transportation practice is beneficial. Major DOT Project experience is necessary. Candidate should have demonstrated business development and knowledge of South Florida Transportation contacts. Leadership and mentoring skills are key.
