Truss Designer

 

Warren County Lumber & Truss is a well established building material supply company specializing in the design and fabrication of wood and light gauge metal roof trusses and specialty building components.  We are currently seeking to fill the following positions:

 

Wood Truss Design

  Light Gauge Metal Truss Design

  Engineered Wood Products Design

 

Requirements: 

 

We prefer a minimum of two years experience in the building component industry, Mitek design software experience for Wood Truss Design, Aegis Design Software for LGM Truss Design, TJ Expert/Optiframe for EWP Design.

The successful candidates must be technical, have strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, have a strong understanding of framing, be able to calculate loading and troubleshoot problems.  Our Designers act as a project coordinator on each individual package and is responsible for each project from beginning to end to include the following; bidding, designs, customer approvals, shop cutting, detailed field installation packages, and follow up support.
