Job Description:

 

Paratek is seeking a key individual who can provide strong leadership in the company?s efforts to advance the design and modeling of these tunable capacitors as the company prepares to ramp up the production of tunable RF products.  The candidate will have a proven track record in semiconductor devices, semiconductor IC processes or thin film capacitor work, the RF and microwave characteristics and the process technologies to produce them in a manufacturing environment.

 

The individual will:

 Contribute to the development, characterization and modeling of tunable devices based on Paratek?s proprietary materials which meet increasing performance levels in mobile products and systems.

 Help to establish the technical vision for tunable materials and processes incorporating customer-driven product requirements.

 Interact with manufacturing to create process development plans and schedules.

 

Specific Responsibilities include:

 Responsible for design, characterization, and modeling of tunable microwave devices and integrated circuits.

 

Requirements:

 Citizenship - US preferred but green card may be acceptable.

 Advanced degree in EE or physics (MS or PhD preferred), with a strong background in microwave devices, device processing, materials science or chemistry.

 Experience in microwave test and characterization including network analyzer and spectrum analyzer measurements, Q measurements, linearity (IP3, ACP, EVM).

 2-5 years in an RF test laboratory, RFIC design group, or passive component development group would be ideal. 

 Experience in device models using simulation tools such as ADS.

 General knowledge of the use passive components or active semiconductor devices for RF operation.

 Experience with electromagnetic simulation using HFSS, Momentum or equivalent.
