UDI Operations/Engineer Support

We are specialized in providing turnkey projects for quality, energy efficient lighting systems in retail, commercial and industrial markets. With our alliance partners, we also provide performance contracting, with ?guaranteed energy savings? for all lighting, mechanical and control systems as well. We provide turnkey installation of energy monitoring systems to give an accurate assessment of where energy dollars are spent and possibly wasted through system inefficiencies. We have professional capabilities to provide engineering services associated with power system studies which could include short circuit analysis, power load flow and protective device coordination.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations/Engineer Support person who will be responsible for:

? Turnkey project management support of demand side management (DSM) projects and possibly other construction type projects (including but not limited to lighting upgrades, HVAC upgrades, control systems, energy management systems, power monitoring systems)
? On site field surveys, design, data entry, estimating and proposal generation for DSM and capital improvement projects (especially energy efficient lighting upgrades)
? Material procurement, pricing negotiations and vendor/supplier interface
? Hiring and managing subcontractors for field installation services
? Negotiating and finalizing contract agreements with subcontractors and approval of all subcontractor invoices
? Customer interaction as needed, especially with coordination, implementation and scheduling of work
? Maintain cost and schedule control for all projects
? Resource allocation and management of all resources
? Quality Assurance and Quality Control support and closeout for projects
? Invoice preparation for project work completed
? Provide support as needed for sales personnel
? Must be able to work virtually and travel to local and extended client sites as needed

Required Skills:
? Minimum 5 years working knowledge of energy efficient lighting technologies and how to put together project proposals for lighting upgrades
? Diverse computer software experience (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Project)
