US-TX-Houston-Electrical Engineer

As a member of our Engineering Team you will be responsible for designing the electrical portion of multiple, parallel engineering projects. You will be the primary interface to the manufacturing department for electrical concerns during the manufacturing phase of your projects. Experience in the electrical equipment manufacturing industry is essential.

Specific job requirements include:Experience in the electrical design of low and medium voltage switchgear, motor control centers, industrial control products and pre-fabricated buildingsAbility to work in a multi-task environment and respond to customer and manufacturing change requestsAbility to give accurate time estimates and schedule updates

Minimum requirements for this position include:

 B. S. Degree in Electrical EngineeringMinimum of three years experience in an Electrical Equipment Manufacturing environmentKnowledge of electrical power distribution theory and equipmentExperienced in developing (designing from scratch) detailed design drawings, including three line diagrams, control schematics, distribution panel schedules and point-to-point wiring diagramsExcellent working knowledge of AutoCAD (v2000 or later)Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeExcellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong sense of initiative and urgencySelf starterCan work with minimal supervisionAbility to work in a multi-task environment
