Job Description

The Field Service Engineer (FSE) administers on-site customer service activities including technical, clinical and business matters with assigned customer base. Performs installation/removal of Ultrasound equipment hardware and software. Responsible for network support. Performs first-call remedial repairs and Quality Assurance Audits of Ultrasound equipment. Sells renewal support plans and provides on-site support of sales demos, clinical trials and trade shows. Utilizes inventory effectively and maintains field inventory, parts usage, and timely return of defective material.

Requirements

? Bachelor's degree plus four years of similar experience, or equivalent
? Ultrasound installation and service experience
? Demonstrated clinical proficiency in all basic Ultrasound applications.
? Advanced knowledge and experience with Windows-based computer applications
? Problem solving skills and technical ability with field experience preferred.
? Proven selling and presentation skills
? Excellent customer communication and interpersonal skills, preferably demonstrated in a customer service environment.
? Effective time management and organizational skills.
? Ability to travel, work on-call and overtime
? Must have a valid driver?s license and a clean driving record.
