Ultrasound Probes NPI Leader

The Ultrasound Probes NPI Leader will act as a liaison between the different Ultrasound Engineering sites and the GUP Engineering and Site Managers to coordinate and implement the U/S NPI roadmap Globally. This is the key role in the Global Ultrasound Probes staff.
Responsibilities include:
Provide technical leadership, hands-on engineering expertise, and program management for comples ultrasound probes programs globally
Ensure engineering designs and manufacturing meet business objectives, design for reliability and design for manufacturability
Effectively communicate engineering program status with enternal and external customers GUP technical leader of the Ultrasound Product Council

Qualifications/Requirements:
8+ years of ultrasound engineering industry experience; in new product development, systems engineering and advance development
Experience interfacing with engineering and other product teams as part of a solution-based process
Program Management exsperience; leading engineering program teams
Ultrasound Applications background
Experience working in a growth environment
Willingness to travel globally 35%
Willingness to take a drug test
Willing to submit a background investigation including for example verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background

Desired:
Masters degree or PhD in electrical, mechanical or manufacturing engineering discipline
Knowledge of acoustics, beanforming, wave propagation theory
Experience with design of medical ultrasound imaging transducers
Self-motivated/self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and operate in a remote environment.
Strong communication skills to synthesize complex issues and communicate into simple messages
Strong interpersonal skills tenacity and patience to develop long-term customer relationships
Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organization
Organized, ability to multi-task and stay organized
