Validation Engineer

Requirements
This Validation Engineer will coordinate product verification and validation activities with product development teams. They will act as principal representative of the Design Compliance Engineering group actively participating on multiple project development teams. The primary mission/goal is to ensure that products are validated to Bose, customer and industry standards prior to product shipment. This includes the creation of the validation plan (including defining new or unique requirements associated with the project), reviewing this Validation Plan with the development teams, and coordination of the execution of the Validation Plan within Design Compliance Engineering.

Skills
Knowledge of Safety, EMC and Environmental & Mechanical testing processes. Excellent project management and scheduling skills. Familiar with all aspects and phases of Engineering product development and must be knowledgable in fundamentals of different manufacturing techniques. Must possess excellent verbal and wriiten communication skills, especially in specification generation, and strong team participation skills.

Education
BS/MSME (preferred) or BS/MSEE with 10 years experience with comensurate skills in managing the testing and/or validation of consumer or electro-mechanical products.
