Vehicle Wind Tunnel Technician

One of our Clients located in Falconer, NY has an immediate, contract opportunity for a Vehicle Wind Tunnel Technician.

Specific Skills or Knowledge Preferred:
Knowledge of Automotive Systems
Duties & Responsibilities:
Review equipment work instructions to confirm test specifications, procedures and/or objectives.
Conduct maintenance and repair on some training and calibration of test equipment in the lab.
Devise, fabricate and assemble modifications to test setup/equipment.
Record test procedures and results and make recommendations for changes in equipment, product or test methods.
Develop and implement test documentation that confirms adherence to customer specs.
Receive, log, tag and track test samples.
Procure hardware and material for test parts and equipment.
Maintain test tracking database assuring closure of test requests.
Make monthly reports on test status.
Communicate with the personnel on other shifts in the lab.
Procure hardware for VWT operation.
