Position Title: WMD Engineer/Scientist

Status: Open

Description: This job, located in Arlington, Virginia, supports development of technologies to defeat weapons of by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) mass destruction (WMD). Position requirements include: knowledge of the DoD Systems Engineering Process; familiarity with WMD defeat capabilities and technologies; substantive experience with WMD effects, related operational planning, or development of WMD defeat technologies; test experience is highly desired.

Education: Engineers or Scientists must have a Bachelor?s degree in Engineering or Science from an accredited college or university program of study. .

Qualifications/Experience: Qualified engineers and scientists will have two (2) or more years of WMD related engineering or phenomenology experience (weapons effects, doctrine and operational planning, or defeat technologies). Must be competent in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word).

Special Requirements: Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must qualify for a secret clearance for access to classified information. U.S. Citizenship required.
