Products include off-road vehicle, and equipment for farm and construction vehicles.

Position Description:
Software Engineer who?s responsibility will be to design and develop embedded systems software, in conjunction with hardware integration support and systems support by performing the following duties:
- Gather system level requirements and breakdown of these requirements into software requirements.
- Architect and design embedded system software, using detailed design notes, analysis
and mathematical models (when appropriate) to predict and test the design.
- Code, test, debug and document system and software.
- Calculate, perform and document operational performance of the system.

 

Requirements:
- Bachelor?s / Master?s degree in Engineering from any of the trades below:
Electronics, Industrial Electronics, Instrumentation & control, Electrical, Computer science
- 3-8 years embedded software experience (Automotive Industry Desired)
- 3-5 years working experience in ?C?.
- Solid understanding of systems design methodology, real-time design and 8/16/32 bit micro-controllers.
- Experience & proficiency in using various development/debugging tools such as in-circuit emulators, logic analyzers, DSOs etc.

 

Desired:

- Knowledge and experience of using modeling & modeling tools such as Simulink and Targetlink.

- Knowledge of Hydraulic Control systems, drive by wire, electric motor control.

- Knowledge of ARM9, Nucleus, ThreadX and WinCE

- Previous experience of working with a CMM level company.

- Previous experience of working with a US client.

- Experience of working on CAN/ RS485/ J1939/ J1708 communication systems/protocols.

 

 

EXPERIENCE IN SPECIALITY AREAS SEEKING
(All on the embedded controller side):
- DSP / signal processing
- Brushless Motor Control
- Hydraulic control systems
- Closed Loop Controls
- Drive By Wire experience
- Displays (Arm 9, VGA, USB, touchscreen) and simpler.

NOT SEEKING CANDIDATES WITH THESE EXPERIENCES:
- Computer Programming/IT
- Database Management / System Analyst
