Web Applications Developer (PHP, Database, AJAX)

Profile

You will work with both engineers and artists to develop and refine a comprehensive asset management infrastructure. This position will serve as a hub between a diverse group of technical, design and business people. Good communication, patience, and excellent organizational skills are a must.

Candidate must have a solid software design and programming background. Must have a good understanding of database technology and demonstrated experience with building web applications, especially PHP-based. Experience designing, implementing and optimizing database schemas for real-world applications. Must be expert in navigating a complex web and database architecture to design, build, extend, test, and debug.

Experience with UNIX, database and webserver administration is highly desirable. Must be able to handcode HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Knowledge of XML/XSL a big plus.QualificationsStrong design/development skills using at least two of PHP, Javascript, XML/XSL/XML Schema, C++ Demonstrated experience of database design, administration, and optimization Experience programming Javascript and AJAX-style applications Experience in Unix environment, administration, tools, etc. Ability to analyze, diagnose, and resolve problems in complex, multi-tiered web architecture Ability to work well with a diverse group of skillsets and personalities Must have exceptional communication and project management skills Expert understanding of HTML and CSS Bachelors Degree in relevant discipline and 3-5 years direct professional experience Other relevant skillsGood understanding of 3D concepts, game programming, or related production pipelines Experience developing web user interfaces Experience developing ActiveX controls Experience administering UNIX, Subversion, and/or Apache Japanese or Mandarin language skills Interest in mobile To Apply
