Windows Systems Administrator

Conducts or participates in the research, design and development of information processing hardware and/or electrical components, mechanisms, materials, circuitry, equipment or processes. Defines requirements for hardware system architecture and evaluates performance, integrates hardware units and interconnection of units, implements test plans and handles design documentation.

Customer requirements: Windows and Active Directory Admin experience. Application / Operating System experience: SUS, RIS, MOM, Script Logic, AdminStudio, Quest Fastlane Migrator, Windows Server 2003, Exchange, F5 Networks BigIP, Veritas Netbackup and Network Appliance file servers. Expertise: Security patch evaluation/distribution/inventory and info assurance/risk mgmt in multi-platform/multi-threaded environment using Harris STAT (vulnerability assessment SW). DUTIES: Determine network performance liabilities (interoperability of patch with ORACLE) for each security patch forwarded for integration by Army HQ. Write integration plans for each patch and create SMS software distribution packages, apply Army/DoD operating system security evaluation/corrective action procedures, evaluate/execute Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessment statements for NT/UNIX servers/wksts. Knowledge, skills, and ability with Citrix a plus.



Training Required BS Degree or 8 years IT experience; Industry Certification needed (i.e. MCP, MCSE, etc.)


Requires minimum 8 years experience.

Must have TS/SCI Clearance.
