Industrial Furnace Manufacturer located in Southern California seeks Designer for Engineering Dept.

Work entails design and CAD drafting of custom industrial furnaces with emphasis on steel fabrication, mechanical drives and assemblies.

This is interesting and challenging work in that various engineering disciplines are invoked in these projects and it represents a learning opportunity for a person with the right background. We will teach and guide a person who brings with him the expected skills or knowhow.

What is the right candidate expected to know and have experience in?

Experienced in CAD (AutoCad, Microstation or Solid Works).

Can do basic engineering calculations.

Computer literate: Excel, Word etc.

Best candidate will have had hands-on experience in a manufacturing / fabrication environment.
