3D Seismic Recording System Product Manager

Our client is looking for a self-motivated individual, experienced in 3-D land seismic recording instrumentation and data acquisition, to manage the introduction of a new product line.

Responsibilities:
Work closely with the engineering team in designing, evaluating, testing and operating 3-D seismic instruments in preparation for product release
Assist in defining software and hardware refinements as products mature
Work closely with sales and marketing department
Act as liaison with manufacturing to aid in product transition from engineering
Travel to customer sites to demonstrate and deliver 3-D seismic instruments
Provide technical assistance and training to customers
Coordinate with the customer service department to ensure high level of customer satisfaction
Plan, organize and direct training for customers worldwide

The successful candidate will work well in culturally diverse settings and have a valid passport and driver's license. The job will require frequent and extended overseas travel and will report to the head office in San Jose, California.

Our client is a leading manufacturer of rugged, portable geophysical instruments for over 35 years. Their products include precision magnetometers, exploration seismographs and geoelectric instruments.
