Waterstone Environmental, Inc. is a full-service environmental consulting firm that provides environmental consulting services in the southern California market.  We are seeking to fill an entry-level scientist position in our Anaheim, California office. This person will conduct Phase I Environmental Assessments of industrial, commercial, residential, and undeveloped properties. Technical supervision will be provided, but the candidate must be experienced with the completion of Phase I environmental assessments and must be self-motivated, a critical thinker, and be able to work independently. The position requires some travel (5-10% of the time) primarily in the southern California area, though some out-of-state travel will be required. The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:

 

? B.S. degree is required, preferably in Geology or Engineering; M.S. a plus

?  1-4 years experience performing Phase I EAs according to the ASTM format

?  On track for REA I certification and/or other professional certifications (PG, PE, etc.)

?  Strong communication, computer and writing skills are required

?  Phase II and fieldwork experience a plus
