Assistant to the Environmental Department

DESCRIPTIONDelek Refining is seeking an Assistant for the Environmental Department at our Tyler, TX refinery.

Responsibilities:

* Preparation and submittal of various regulatory reports
* Maintain compliance records including lab analysis, charts, reports, calculations, etc.
* Coordinate waste manifests, tracking and classification using web-based tools
* Monitor and coordinate with outside labs regarding samples
* Clerical and technical duties for department including inspections, legal issues, maintaining files, and records
* Maintain environmental library
* Coordinate use and management of web-based compliance tracking systemREQUIREMENTS

* Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Adobe, and web-based software)
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work with other departments and outside entities
* Knowledge of refinery operations is preferred

* Environmental knowledge or experience is a plus
* Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, efficiently and in a timely manner to meet mandatory deadlines for regulatory reports and issues.

 

This is a non-exempt position and there is currently no relocation assistance.
