Bio Environmental Engineer

Nationwide travel for air, water, and hazwaste assessments.  Contract approximately 12 months with possibility of an extension if desired.  40 hour HAZWOPER, 8-hour refreshers, EPA Visible Emissions Certification, OSHA Fall Protection, Risk Communications, and Certified Value Added Service Provide certification for Air Program Information Management System training required. Secret security clearance required. ***JOB DESCRIPTION: The candidates shall provide on-site program and project-level advisory and assistance services (A&AS) environmental quality services in support of the Air Force Institute for Operations Health (AFIOH). In addition, the on-site consultants shall provide support for technical interchange meetings; field surveillance and oversight; development of request packages and programming documents; site surveys; environmental health, risk and safety assessments; technical document review and preparation; procurement strategies; participation in budget planning; developing statements of work, cost estimates and project execution schedules; GIS; oversight of research and development; Q&A of field sampling and lab analysis, etc.  The candidates shall assist with the management of projects to include field oversight of activities, technical document reviews/recommendations, and engineering and environmental technical assistance. The primary location of this work will be on-site at Brooks AFB, San Antonio, TX with travel to other locations as needed.  Please send references with resume and salary requirements.
