The Annandale, Virginia office is currently hiring a Senior Level Engineer for the position of Client Officer, specializing in Water Resources.  The Client Officer ? Water Resources Engineer will be responsible for marketing and managing CDM clients in Virginia. Primary focus will be on enhancing CDM's market position for water resources work including stormwater collection and treatment, TMDL's, wetlands mitigation, and other watershed management issues. Responsible for developing and implementing CDM's regional strategic water resource market plan for the Virginia area. The successful candidate will be responsible for client management, establishing and retaining client relations, proposal and interview preparation and contract negotiation. Additionally, the candidate must have demonstrated project management expertise in planning and managing all aspects - scope, budget and schedule - of large state projects.

 

This position requires a B.S. (M.S. preferred) in civil/ environmental engineering or a related field and a minimum of 12 years of directly related experience. Strong knowledge of and contacts with state agencies. Candidates must have a P.E., P.G. or other appropriate license in Virginia or ability to obtain reciprocity in 6 to 12 months. This position requires strong client/ project management, technical and business development skills and proven leadership, interpersonal, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
