 CONSULTING CHEMIST

 In this role, the successful candidate will serve as the Project QA Officer/Chemistry Task Leader on a variety of environmental investigations.  Responsibilities include: preparing quality assurance documents, negotiating with regulatory agencies, managing subcontractor analytical laboratories, serving as a technical resource in the area of analytical chemistry, participating in proposal efforts, and managing data validation tasks.  There is also potential for line management responsibilities in this role.  Analytical laboratory experience is needed, as well as familiarity with USEPA data validation guidelines. Access database experience and familiarity with air methodologies are helpful.

 

BS in Chemistry or Environmental Sciences is required.  5-10 years related experience.
