Job Purpose:Responsible for compliance with all environmental, safety and health regulationsAdvise and assist plant management regarding safety, health and environmental reportingIssue and information processingCompilation and processing of safety statisticsRegular staff safety meetingsProvision of environmental reportsAll other duties required to monitor health and safety issues at the MillReport directly to the Mill Manager

 

 

Job Requirements:Knowledgeable of Occupational Health & Safety ActKnowledgeable of the EPA reporting requirements for manufacturing operationsProficient with data collection and compilationProficient with computerized reporting mechanisms for the environmental, heath and safety areas

4-year college degree in a relevant discipline3 - 5 years experience in directing/leading the Safety, Health and Environmental efforts for a manufacturing operation that employed a minimum of 100 employeesSupervisory experience, with a Junior EHS Professional reporting directly to the EHS ManagerCertified Accredited Safety Auditor or hold certification in Industrial Accident InvestigationCertified in CPR and Emergency First AidMust have experience in loss control leadershipPerform other duties as assigned
