Environmental Biologist

Responsibilities:
Tetra Tech EC, a full service environmental consulting, engineering, construction and remediation company seeks an Environmental Biologist. The Ecologist/Biologist will perform under supervision some of the following (depending on qualifications) perform wetland delineations and prepare reports, evaluate and map terrestrial, aquatic, and wetland habitat, conduct wildlife surveys, conduct fish and aquatic macroinvertebrate surveys, prepare sections of NEPA documents and Biological Assessments, prepare wetland permit applciations, and prepare other reports.

Experiences Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years experience.

Skills Required:
Able to perform technical tasks and supervise some small tasks with a minimum of supervision. Disciplines can be one or a combination of wetland delineation and permitting, botany, wildlife ecology, and/or fisheries/aquatic ecology, and must also include:
Collection of field ecology data;
Data analysis, including computer software, and report preparation;
GIS preferred but not required;
Data management skills(e.g., MS-Access) preferred but not required;
Excellent writing skills.


Education Requirements:
BS plus 3 years of experience, MS preferred but not required.
