Description:
AIG Consultants, Inc., an AIG member company, is seeking a full-time Environmental Consultant with 5-10 years experience in the environmental field to join the existing in-house consulting staff in our Los Angeles, CA office that provides technical consultation and analysis to AIG?s environmental underwriters of pollution liability insurance. Qualified candidates will have a broad-based environmental experience with emphasis on site investigation, site remediation (including cost estimation), environmental law and regulations, and interaction with regulatory agencies on cleanups and other matters.

Excellent writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills are a must. Any prior experience with insurance support is a plus.

Advanced degree in geology, engineering, environmental science, or related field preferred.
