Mid-Level Environmental Geologist, Engineer, or Scientist - Brighton, Michigan

Responsibilities
Provide support to project managers in management of both private and public sector clients/projects
Prepare detailed written work products, including health & safety plans, contractor specifications and bid forms, work plans, and investigation reports
Understand and meet project scopes of work, schedules and budgets
Complete small task management activities, lead field teams, and manage subcontractors
Assist project managers in the preparation of proposals
Learn company methods, practices, and procedures
Assist in training and mentoring junior-level staff
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Overnight and daytime travel required, as needed
Overtime required, as needed

Qualifications
BS degree in a geology, engineering, or related scientific field
Minimum 5 years experience with increasing responsibility in field and office work
Strong knowledge of MDEQ regulations, programs and application of cleanup criteria
Strong knowledge of the principles and standards of geology, engineering and/or scientific study and practice (dependent upon education/curriculum)
Solid computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Adobe Acrobat)
Valid driver?s license and the ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
