Eaton Corporation located in Moon Township, PA has an opening for an Environmental Health & Safety Manager.

The EHS Manager will be the driving force for all Environmental, Health and Safety initiatives within the Electrical Group. The goal of this newly created position is to shape and strongly influence EHS directives globally and to help elevate Electrical's EHS function to "World-Class Status." The primary focus of the position will be health and safety (75%), with the remainder environmental (25%). In addition, because of the complexity of country-specific laws, the position's regulatory oversight will be weighted to the United States.

Qualifications:
Prior experience and education/training where candidate has demonstrated the ability to drive turn-around in EHS &S environment. EHS&S certifications as appropriate.

Ability to work in a matrix environment; get results and drive change through others

Ability to learn Global EHS&S requirements and drive regional improvements.

Possess exceptional oral and written communication skills, as well as planning and organizational skills.

A priority is the ability to be an effective time manager with multiple task management expertise coupled with good people skills.

Masters (EHS discipline, engineering, or similar)preferred.

Professional Affiliations with CHMM, CSP, CIH strongly desired.

Lean/Six Sigma/Cost Savings experience required.
