Environmental Markets

Point Carbon is the leading provider of independent analysis, forecasting, market intelligence and news for the power, gas and carbon emissions markets. We are seeking an entry-level sales associate in DC.


The Role

Working directly with the Managing Director for North America, associate will assist with all facets of business development including:

? Identifying new sales lead and cold-calling

? Methodical and organized follow-up with over 4000 existing accounts

? Maintenance and expansion of CRM contact database

? Establishing and achieving quotas for both new sales and recurring revenue


Qualifications

? At least one year of sales experience preferably in a publishing or consulting environment

? A proven interest in energy, environmental issues and climate change policy

? Undergraduate degree

? Familiarity with CRM systems such as ACT, Salesforce and SuperOffice

? Special attention will be paid to candidates with experience at the following firms: Argus, Bloomberg, Platts and Reuters
