Marine Scientist or Project Manager desired for environmental/coastal permitting position. Responsibilities will include environmental assessments and expedition of regulatory permits for coastal and waterfront development projects in Florida and the Caribbean. Candidate will coordinate with various local, state, and federal environmental agencies as well as project professionals such as architects and engineers to process permits. Marine Scientist candidate must have a Bachelor?s degree in Coastal Zone Management, Marine Biology/Geology/Affairs, Environmental Science, Construction Management and/or 2 plus years of experience in regulatory permitting. Project Manager candidate must have Master?s degree in related field and 3 plus years of experience (or Bachelor?s plus commensurate experience). Experience with interpretation of architectural/engineering design plans and an interest in development and environmental law are a plus. Candidate must have excellent communication skills.
