Project Manager Position - Exempt

Responsibilities: 

The qualified candidate will provide engineering and project management on various federal contracts associated with engineering and ecological assessment, evaluations, response actions, restoration/remediation, and monitoring.  Project sites include full range of HTRW and contracts are multi-state, multi-task order IDIQs.  Responsibilities will include:

? Interfacing with clients, regulators and stakeholders

? Management of task orders from costing, project setup, execution, reporting and closeout

? Managing and evaluating data

? Developing project documents such as work plans, technical reports, designs, and specifications

? Managing subcontractors

? Developing and managing project budgets, schedules and resources

? Performing technical and/or quality control reviews of deliverables, as well as performing quality audits of projects and field work

? Supporting marketing efforts which includes developing proposals, technical scenarios, and cost estimates

Requirements: 

Professional Engineer or Geologist.

Degree in Engineering, Geology or related environmental science.

5 years experience relevant to environmental investigations or remediation in at least two of the following three regulatory programs CERCLA, RCRA, and UST

Familiarity with MS-Project and project scheduling principles.

Highly effective communicator in both written and oral media.

Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise projects, staff, subcontractors and resources.

Track record of successful management of project schedules and budgets.

Experienced in cost estimating and scheduling.

Chemist Position - Exempt

Responsibilities: 

The qualified candidate will provide technical support as part of a project team on ecological restoration, response action, and hazardous waste projects.  Tasks can include:

? Supporting development of DQOs, sampling plans and quality assurance plans

? Coordinating with laboratories and performing QA/QC checks of laboratory reports

? Conducting field screening and facility inspections

? Completing reports

? Performing analytical data validation

? Supporting response actions and categorizing materials using field test screening instrumentation/equipment

? Assessing compatibility of chemicals and making analytical testing recommendations

Requirements: 

BS/MS in chemistry, or closely related engineering or science degree.

Minimum 2 years of directly related experience. 

Proficient at word processing and spreadsheets using Microsoft office word and excel.

  Ability to perform field operations and travel.

  Good verbal and written communication skills.

Environmental Engineer Positions - Non Exempt

Responsibilities: 

The qualified candidates will provide field, design, and documentation support on various RCRA/CERLA/UST related projects.  Projects will include assessments, monitoring, engineering evaluations, engineering cost estimating, training, technical support response action oversight, ecological restoration and remediation, and operation & maintenance. 

Requirements: 

BS/MS in chemical, environmental or civil engineering.

Entry level to 3 years of experience. 

At least one internship position while enrolled in degree program.

High level of proficiency with MS-WORD and MS-EXCEL.

  Ability to perform field operations and travel, work effectively in a team environment.

  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 

Biologist Position - Exempt

Responsibilities: 

The qualified candidate will support environmental and ecological contracts associated with engineering and ecological assessments, evaluations, response actions, surveys, restoration/remediation, and monitoring.  Project tasks can involve

? Wetlands

? Fisheries

? Botany, T&E and Wildlife surveys

? NEPA Documentation

? Response Action Support

? Hazardous Waste Assessments and Remediation

Requirements: 

BS/MS in Biology or related field.

2 to 7 years of experience.

Experience working with the USACE in the relevant project areas

High level of proficiency with MS-WORD and MS-EXCEL

  Ability to perform field operations and travel and operate effectively in a team environment.

  Good verbal and written communication skills.

 

GIS Specialist Position ? Non Exempt

 

Responsibilities: 

The qualified candidate will provide GIS, graphics and general technical support on various environmental projects including engineering and ecological investigations, evaluations, restorations, and surveys by providing data analysis and preparation of maps and graphics using site data. 

Requirements: 

BA/BS Geography, Geology, environmental science, or other related discipline

High level proficiency with ESRI ArcView

Clear and effective communicator of spatial data using color schemes, symbology and labeling

Clear and effective communicator in both written and oral media

Good attention to detail and organizational skills
