 FIELD GEOLOGIST

 

Primary responsibilities include: implement field sampling programs as needed, perform field work at client locations under a variety of working conditions, test soil and groundwater remediation systems, collect air, soil and water samples for monitoring and optimizing remediation system performance. Candidate will be required to learn and become proficient with groundwater modeling programs and will be proficient at field data collection and converting such to draft reports. Computer skills desired include: Outlook, Word, Excel and programs such as Modflow and/or Aqtesolv. Travel will be required. Current 40-hour HAZWOPER training is desired.

 

BS in Geology and/or Environmental Science and 2 to 5 years experience required.
