Job Description: SAIC is seeking a Project Manager - Geologist in the field of Site Assessment and Remediation to join our Las Vegas, NV office. Responsibilities shall include performing and managing assessments, remediation, and monitoring for sites in locations such as, California, Arizona, Nevada and Utah. Projects may include site characterization, human health/ecological risk assessments, corrective action alternative analysis and selection, remedial construction, groundwater monitoring, O&M and air/water modeling. The candidate may also be asked to perform preliminary assessments, environmental site assessments, and other research or NEPA related projects, as required.

Education: BS in Geology, Earth Science, or similar.

Required Skills: Minimum of 7+ years experience in the environmental field with experience in site assessments, soil and groundwater sampling, data interpretation, permitting, design, site conceptual models, remedial system installation, operation, and maintenance, health and safety, and report writing. Should be able to work on numerous concurrent project efforts for various project managers. Candidate should be team-oriented but should be able to work independently with minimal supervision and capable of effective written and oral communication.

Desired Skills: The ideal candidate would be knowledgeable in the oil and gas industry, federal programs and RCRA and CERCLA site investigation processes. DOE experience is a plus and the candidate must be flexible and willing to travel.
