Health & Safety Manager

Cutting edge environmental firm seeking a highly motivated, focused individual to become part of our Environmental Compliance team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 ? 10 years experience as an H&S professional, preferably with industrial hygiene experience, and with a strong regulatory background in all OSHA programs including HAZWOPER, Respiratory Protection, and others.

Essential responsibilities and duties include:

 Manage the health and safety function for our fast-paced and dispersed work force, including program development, job hazard safety analysis, develop and conduct relevant trainings to our workforce. Provide expertise toward continuing to improve Triumvirate?s health and safety program.Assists multi-site facility operations staff with health and safety requirements and challenges.Determine the adequacy of health and safety procedures currently in place.Oversee and direct exposure monitoring program.Keep updated on regulatory changes.Provide expert guidance to local staff implementing H&S compliance regulations.Review jobs and implement appropriate safeguards.Take a lead role with the Triumvirate Safety Committee.Track, monitor and report on our health and safety metrics.

Required qualifications:

 8-10 years professional Health & Safety experience.BS/BA in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Life or Physical Sciences, or other related fields.In depth knowledge and understanding of state and federal health & safety regulations.Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
