Housekeeping Manager - Healthcare - Pittsburgh, PA

ARAMARK Healthcare Management Services (HMS) is seeking a Housekeeping Manager for a acute care facility in the Pittsburgh, PA area.As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, organizing, and developing of the overall operation of the housekeeping department .


 


You will be responsible for staffing, scheduling, training and developing an hourly staff. Responsibilities also include managing the safety and training programs within the department. Coordinating customer service programs. Developing new programs to enhance the ARAMARK program at the hospital. Maintaining existing training initiatives related to the housekeeping department is essential to this position.



Ideal candidates will possess the following:

*Bilingual Spanish speaking

*Bachelor's Degree (and/or requisite industry and management experience).

*Previous experience managing a team of housekeeping employees through motivation, coaching and development is required.

*Ability to anticipate customer needs, change goals and direction quickly and multitask is essential to success in this role.

*Working knowledge of rooms management systems is preferred.

*Planning, organizing and directing team members to ensure the highest degree of customer satisfaction are required.

*Knowledge of  JCAHO and OSHA and safety standards within Housekeeping department is preferred.

*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

*Experience with customer service and/or patient satisfaction initiatives is required.

 *Willing to work evening shift.

*Excellent PC skills and project management skills.
