Summary of Primary Responsibilities

 

Support the company commitment to our customer to prevent harm to SPR employees, the public, the environment and the mission by providing a safe and healthful workplace, while maintaining safe drawdown readiness by participating in the development and oversight of the SPR Industrial Hygiene Program as described in the most recent revision of the M&O Contractor Safety and Health Work Authorization Directive (WAD) 2006-1. Ensure compliance with SPR, DOE, federal, state and local regulations to prevent harm and maintain a workplace environment free from harmful chemical, biological, physical and physiological hazards.

Qualifications

 

Bachelor?s degree and five to seven years of experience in industrial hygiene field required, or Master?s degree in Industrial Hygiene or a related field and three years of experience in safety or industrial hygiene. Good written and oral communication skills essential. Certified Industrial Hygienist preferred.
