Job Purpose:  Provide focus, development, implementation and technical expertise for the advancement of a pro active EHS program that is consistent with Grant's site and corporate policies, vision and values and is in compliance with local, state and federal EHS regulationsReport directly to the EHS ManagerAssist in the development of facilities, work areas and work proceduresMake appropriate environment, health and safety recommendationsImplement and maintain company policies adhering to local, state and federal EHS regulationsAssure compliance with all EHS regulationsKeep current with any changes to laws and/or regulations that impact GrantServe as a contact with local, state and federal regulatory agenciesPreparation, maintenance and updating of environmental policy and procedure manuals

 

Job Requirements:Familiar with CAA, CWA, CERCLA and SARA4-year degree in a relevant disciplineExperience with ISO 9000, 14001 and 18001Knowledge of the methods, use of equipment and interpreting results of industrial hygiene trainingPerform other duties as assigned
