Process Engineer 2

Essential Functions and Duties:

Candidate will participate in metrology and microanalysis applications in a broad area of applications including:

AFM/Profilometry
EDS
Thin Film Measurement
Spectroscopy
Defect Review
SEM Applications

Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, work well with others, and have strong analytical skills. Responsibilities may include:

Operation and data analysis on a wide variety of metrology equipment
Developing scope and requirements for analytical services
Writing analytical summary reports
Acting as tool owner for various equipment including overseeing maintenance and repairs
Interacting with customers and proactively providing solutions for their metrology needs

 

Qualifications:

Required:

BS/MS in Material Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
Relevant courses projects to the semiconductor industry
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to work and thrive in a customer service oriented environment

Desired:
Hands-on experience on surface science and spectroscopy
Prior co-op/internships in the semiconductor industry
