RecycleMax is currently seeking a Program Manager to launch high-profile recycling programs for the US Postal Service and other customer facilities in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Our ideal Program Manager will reside in the DC area.  He/she will work out of their home but spend most of the time meeting with customers in the DC/Richmond/Baltimore area.  There will be some travel days to the western side of Virginia and other nearby states.  To make your home an office, we will provide you with a computer, printer, fax, and cell phone. As for your on the road days, we will pay for hotel accommodations with an auto and food reimbursement. This position will involve lots of onsite time with customers at all levels so the ability to communicate with, train, work with and like people is a must!  Our Program Managers launch, maintain and grow our recycling services so candidates must be motivated to provide excellent service, quick-learners and have great organizational skills. Writing, typing, basic math and computer skills (especially Word & Excel) are a necessity. Although no industry experience is necessary, successful candidate will have a strong desire to see environmental responsibility grow among customers! You must have at least a bachelor?s degree with a focus in sales, marketing, environmental management, education, training, public relations, governmental relations or program management.

The duties and responsibilities of a Program Manager include the following:

? Implementation and management of our Recycling Program Management Services at customer sites

 

?Development and provision of environmental and recycling training programs, educational materials and promotions

 

?Coordination of distribution of containers, educational materials and other support media at customer locations

 

?Daily customer sales, service and educational support for our clients

 

?Development of Program Management, Training & Educational Materials for use in our services

 

?Maintenance of relationships with key account contacts to assure long-term contractual relationships with our company

 

?Obtaining quotations from outside vendors for services, equipment and supplies.

 

The starting salary for this position will be $35,000 to $45,000 based on experience level + performance bonuses (allowing for substantial income growth). We offer health benefits and a 401k plan along with generous auto reimbursements, expenses, vacation and personal/sick time.

Interviews will be held August 14-25 and the position will start on or around August 28 - September 1, 2006.
