Project Geologist/Senior Scientist

PBS&J is seeking a Hydrogeologist/Project Geologist with 5 to 10 years experience working in groundwater resource evaluation, development, permitting and modeling. Specifically, we are looking for candidates who desire the opportunity use their technical skills to do simple and complex water supply/aquifer/groundwater projects. The successful candidate should have the following experience:

 
Groundwater Modeling using GW Vista, MODFLOW or equivalent groundwater flow model software
Ability to use GIS Applications in conjunction with groundwater flow modeling in addition to data analysis using GIS applications 
Analytical and technical report writing skills
Supervisory skills for field investigations and well drilling programs ranging from small diameter monitor well installation to water supply production wells to deep injection wells and ASR test wells
Aquifer Performance Testing design, implementation and data interpretation
Geophysical Surveys and evaluations
Geological and Hydrogeologic investigations/studies
Wastewater reuse/disposal experience a plus
 Experience in Florida preferred but not required.

 

BS in Geology or Engineering Geology required Masters preferred

Applicant should have a PE or PG in Florida or have the ability to obtain registration in Florida within a year of hiring.
