Our New York City office is seeking an environmental engineer with 10+ years of related environmental experience.  Requirements for the position include:

 

? MS degree in Environmental Engineering and PE license

? 10+ years experience in field oversight, environmental investigation, remedial design, groundwater sampling and remediation system operation

? Thorough understanding of design process, contract documents and A/E construction practices

? A minimum of 5 years of solid NYC experience and strong understanding of DEP and federal environmental regulations are a must

? Experience with NYSDEC permitting requirements are a plus

? Working knowledge of AutoCADD

? Prepare preliminary, engineering and detailed cost estimates

? Supervise and direct staff, subcontractors, and remediation contractors

? Prepare bid specifications and coordinate contractor bidding

? Ability to manage several small to mid-sized projects simultaneously

? Candidates will spend time in both the field and office

? Strong communication, report writing and management skills are required
